    Product Overview

This custom 304 stainless steel precision adapter sleeve is produced by Swiss-type CNC machining. The part combines a thin-wall cylindrical sleeve, an internal through bore, stepped flange features and side U-shaped slots in a compact interface component.

    Structure and Machining Features

The internal bore and outer diameter require controlled coaxiality while the thin sleeve must retain its form under cutting and clamping forces. Once the side openings are machined, stiffness decreases further, so workholding and process order must protect roundness and functional geometry through machining and finishing.

    Datum and Slot Relationship Control

The end flange, side U-shaped slots and internal bore are managed from a common datum strategy. Swiss-type turn-mill programming and fixture positioning help control the slot symmetry, the relationship between the slots and flange face, and the bore axis without relying on repeated uncontrolled re-clamping.

    Project Value

A controlled thin-wall machining strategy helps retain the sleeve geometry required for assembly while preserving the positional relationship of the bore, flange and side openings. Careful deburring removes sharp edges around the slots and bore without compromising the thin-wall profile.
