    Product Overview

This case presents a custom go-kart wheel produced from 6061 aluminum alloy by CNC machining. Its lightweight multi-spoke structure integrates the rim, hub area, central bore and mounting-hole pattern, followed by orange-red spray painting for the required appearance.

    Structure and Machining Features

The main machining challenge is controlling the geometric accuracy of the continuous rotational surfaces. Radial runout and concentricity between the rim, hub bore and mounting features must be managed carefully. Smooth tool-path transitions are also important because mismatched passes can leave a perceptible step on the curved surface.

    Machining Process

The machining route establishes the datum and hub features first, then controls the rim profile, spoke geometry, central bore and mounting-hole relationships through stable fixturing and coordinated tool paths. Small positioning errors during setup can shift the rotational relationship of these features and affect wheel balance after assembly. The finished part is inspected against the customer drawing before spray painting.

    Industry / Application

Designed for karting and motorsports wheel assemblies where low mass, repeatable mounting and controlled rotational geometry are important. Final dimensions, geometric tolerances and balance requirements follow the customer drawing and assembly conditions.
