Why Choose Swiss Lathe Machining?
Efficient for Repeatable Small-Part Production
Swiss lathe machining is well suited for batches of small precision parts. It helps maintain consistency across repeated components while reducing handling between operations.
Complex Features on Small Components
Swiss machining can combine turning, drilling, milling, threading, grooving, and cross-hole operations on compact parts. This makes it suitable for components with tight details and multiple features.
Stable Machining for Slender Parts
Swiss lathes support the workpiece close to the cutting tool with a guide bushing. This helps reduce deflection and improves stability when machining long, thin, or small-diameter components.

Surface Finishing Options
Nickel Plating
Adds corrosion and wear resistance with a smooth, metallic appearance, maintaining high dimensional accuracy for precision applications.
E-Coating (Electrophoretic Coating)
Electrostatically applied for even coverage, E-Coating provides excellent corrosion protection and consistent finishes across complex geometries.
Anodizing
Applied to aluminum parts, anodizing is one of the most widely used surface finishes for CNC milled parts, significantly increasing corrosion resistance, surface hardness, and overall durability. This process offers a wide range of color and texture options while maintaining tight machining tolerances, making it ideal for precision CNC machining applications in aerospace, electronics, medical devices, and industrial equipment.
Painted Finish
Spray painting and powder coating add color, corrosion protection, and a consistent appearance. Powder coating offers superior wear resistance and durability, making it ideal for production parts.
Sandblasting & Bead Blasting
Sandblasting uses abrasive particles to create a textured finish, while bead blasting applies fine glass beads for a smooth, uniform matte appearance. Both processes eliminate imperfections and prepare surfaces for coatings.
Sanding & Polishing
Removes tool marks and rough areas, delivering smooth, glossy surfaces while maintaining dimensional accuracy. Perfect for customer-facing parts and high-end prototypes.
As Machined Finish
Milled parts come directly from the machine with visible tool marks and a slightly rough surface. Ideal for functional prototypes or internal components where precision is critical, offering fast turnaround and cost savings.
